OAKRIDGE SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFERING PRE-Kindergarten PROGRAM (KITS)
The Oakridge School District, in collaboration with Lane County United Way and the Oregon Social Learning Center, will be offering, at no cost to families, the “Kids in Transition to School” or KITS program during the summer of 2021 for children entering kindergarten in the fall.
During this program your kids will:
• Learn essential school readiness skills like following directions, how to make friends, and cooperating with others
• Build beginning reading, writing & counting skills
As a parent, you will get from the program:
• How to support the skills your child is learning
• Make connections with your child’s school
Prepare your child for success in school

The KITS summer session will run from the week of July 8th through August 28th
Transportation is available for students to attend KITS sessions
