Teacher & Paraprofessional Qualification Notification
The No Child Left Behind ACT states parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teacher including the license held by the teacher, the baccalaureate degree earned by the teacher, the teacher's major, endorsements, and other academic degrees. Parents also have the right to request the qualifications of any Para-educators working with the child. Parents must be individually informed if their student is taught for four weeks or more by a teacher that is not highly qualified. If you have questions call the OHS Office @ (541)782-3226
As a District parent, you may register to take suggested training for Child Abuse: Identification & Intervention and Sexual Conduct: Staff-to-Student. To begin a course, click on the blue title link and follow the prompts. To earn a certificate of completion, you must complete all sections of a course and pass a quiz. Your participation will help to make your child's school a safer place to work and learn.
